Hey everyone! How did our day go today? Does everyone like our patch we designed? Also, we need to start researching and thinking of ideas, so if you have any thoughts please tell!
Hey! I think we did good today! The patch looks good -glad we fixed the "curve" problem. Yah-we need to start thinking of ideas and researching topics for the russis space race. If we all know what to do we should discuss what needs to get covered on the board. That way we can plan our future space station. If hannah and katie start planing/designing, i will start pricing it out and kate can start firguring what will make it work. I think it will be a success! :) :D
I thought our design went good today, and I am very glad that we finally got the ft to path to work! for our idea i think we should make a dome, since that would keep the air in.
Here's an idea. I was looking up viable planets/area for colonization. Statistically, mars could be our best bet. It has frozen water, possible microbes frozen in the soil and is not ridiculously far away from our planet. Mars's soil contains "super greenhouse" gases, which would work like our greenhouses gases being emmitted from factories on earth. Ultimatley, they coluld warm mars to the point where an atmosphere could form, ice melt and martian forests grow... unfortuneatly, it would take about 100 years to get the temperature high enough to melt mars's ice. Still, the temperature is a comparitively low -80 degrees, -25 needing to be obtained to melt mars.
Anyways, mars has potential. the statistics above are ways to make the entire PLANET livable, which is obviously not the focus of this project. so, perhaps a certain amount of its ice could be melted, with the warming of the planet set as a long term goal.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I think today went well. It was SO complicated trying to get our names to curve. Glad we finally fixed it.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any ideas yet, but I'm sure we'll all come up with more once we start resaerching.

Just a thought.
